These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Luma, including the Luma One platform, related websites, applications, communications, and SMS programs.

Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Luma, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional service terms, order forms, or policies that apply to your account. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Use of the service
Luma provides software for salon operations, including customer management, front-desk workflows, checkout, appointments, memberships, packages, reporting, payments, equipment workflows, and business communications.
You agree to use the service only for lawful business purposes, to provide accurate account information, to maintain the confidentiality of account credentials, and to comply with all applicable laws and industry rules.
Billing and account terms
Certain Luma features may involve subscription fees, implementation fees, platform billing, transaction records, taxes, or other charges. The customer of record is responsible for all fees and charges described in the applicable order form, billing screen, or subscription agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement, fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, misuse, security concerns, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.
Customer transactions managed through Luma
Businesses using Luma may use the platform to manage end-customer appointments, memberships, packages, billing, cancellations, and communications. Those customer-facing terms are generally set by the business using Luma, not by Luma itself.
Each business using the platform is responsible for its own customer disclosures, cancellation policies, membership terms, consent records, and compliance obligations.
SMS Terms & Conditions
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Luma related to account notifications, support updates, product updates, and promotional offers.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent is not a condition of purchase.
We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Businesses using Luma to send SMS messages to their own customers are responsible for obtaining all required consent, honoring opt-outs, and complying with TCPA, CTIA, carrier rules, privacy laws, and other applicable requirements.
Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Customer content and compliance
The business using Luma is responsible for the legality, accuracy, and content of the information, campaigns, messages, workflows, exports, and customer-facing policies it creates in the platform.
That includes obtaining required consents, honoring opt-outs, maintaining lawful membership and billing practices, and complying with privacy, payments, messaging, and consumer protection requirements that apply to its own operations.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We also may update features, impose reasonable usage limits, or make changes needed for security, legal compliance, or infrastructure maintenance.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luma disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is being used unlawfully, insecurely, or in violation of these Terms & Conditions. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
